\nVisitors of Crete may come to contact with the folklore and ethnological\n tradition of the island, through a large number of folklore museums and\n collections .Important collections of bygone eras include utensils \nrelated to traditional livestock breeding, wedding, agriculture, \nchristening, architecture, birth, clothing and equipment of traditional \nCretan houses.Excellent collections are met at the museums of \nLychnostatis in Hersonissos,  Arolithos by Tylissos, Rethymnon, Agios \nNikolaos, Sitia, Vainia, Therisso, Gavalohori, Piskopiano, Somatas, Ini,\n Asites,Chania, Chandras, Kandanos, Palekastro, Vrahassi, Gavdos,  \nMohos, Spili and more.  Similarly, venues related to the olive tree \ninclude the Museum of Olive in Vouves, the old oil mill (fabrica) of \nArhanes and Vatolakos.\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
